Arrive in Durango to pick up your tickets at the train station (open untill 7 pm) and then proceed to your hotel (please check in after 3 PM). Durango is the kind of town you daydream about - there are endless ways to relax, rejuvenate and reinvigorate. 11 Durango to Silverton - round-trip by steam train
A serene walk to the train station from your downtown hotel. You will have an unforgettable journey by train to the historic mining town of Silverton, Colorado. You will have a peaceful 2-hour visit, returning to Durango on the afternoon train. Listen for the whistle summoning your return. You will have this evening free to experience the nightlife. Overnight in Durango one more night.

11 Durango to Chama - by car
Check out of your hotel by 11 am.. Today you get to drive some of the most scenic highways in America to reach Chama, New Mexico. Arrive in Chama, located in the Northern New Mexico Rocky Mountains. Check into your hotel after 3 pm.

11 Chama to Osier - round trip by steam train
This morning head out on your mesmerizing roundtrip rail journey. Take one of the last Narrow Gauge Railroad journeys left in the USA. Stop in Osier for a hot lunch which is included in your fare. Overnight in Chama.
