Williams to Grand Canyon
Start your day with a buffet style breakfast at Grand Depot Café Restaurant. Afterwards, it's time for an old-fashioned Wild West Shootout between the Cataract Creek Gang and the Marshal. As you depart Williams for the Grand Canyon, you'll travel the same 65-mile rail line that passengers first traversed more than a century ago. Enjoy the scenery as the elevation changes during the 2 hour and 15 minute trip.
Once you de-board at the South Rim, you'll have over three hours to explore historic Grand Canyon Village. Most of the buildings at the South Rim were built by the railroad, including the El Tovar Hotel in 1905. Along the rim, you'll find historic sites, places to eat and shop, and of course, some of the most breathtaking views you'll ever see. Return in the afternoon to the Grand Canyon Depot and relax in the comfort of your train car after seeing the Grand Canyon. As the train pulls back into Williams Depot, your Railway Getaway package will conclude.
