Williams to Grand Canyon
Start your day with a buffet style breakfast at Grand Depot Café Restaurant. Afterwards, it's time for an old-fashioned Wild West Shootout between the Cataract Creek Gang and the Marshal. As you depart Williams for the Grand Canyon, you'll travel the same 65-mile rail line that passengers first traversed more than a century ago. Enjoy the scenery as the elevation changes during the 2 hour and 15 minute trip.
Once you depart your train at the historic Grand Canyon Village you will board a comfortable motorcoach for a ninety minute tour of the South Rim. This tour is narrated, and travels an area that only buses can go.
Upon returning to the village, you will have approximately 25 hours to enjoy Grand Canyon National Park, where you’ll find many activities to choose from. Most of the buildings at the South Rim were built by the railroad, including the El Tovar Hotel in 1905. Along the rim, you'll find historic sites, places to eat and shop, and of course, some of the most breathtaking views you'll ever see. Enjoy the peacefulness of the evening and a Grand Canyon sunset.
